Synopsis
Slavoj Žižek, a Slovenian philosopher and psychoanalyst, explores the complex relationship between ideology and popular culture in his analyses of some of the most significant films in cinematic history. With a passionate engagement and deep interest in popular media, Žižek examines how film narratives contribute to the formation and reinforcement of dominant ethical and political beliefs, both at the societal and individual levels.
