The Principal
Synopsis
François is a director of a primary school and teaches third graders, a role that demands much of his time and leaves little room for a private life. He is deeply committed to his work. At the start of the school year, his daughter Laura, 14 years old, moves in with him. She has arrived from Tahiti with her mother for the first time since his separation, disrupting the quiet routine of his life. In the schoolyard, beneath the children's playful games and laughter, their cries reveal the daily struggles they face. François is more than just a teacher; he is also a friend and a protector to his students.
