The Promise
Synopsis
A young orphan girl, driven by poverty, makes a pact with an enchantress. In exchange for beauty and the admiration of all men, she agrees never to be with the man she loves. The enchantress places a curse that can only be broken if the impossible occurs: snow falls in spring and the dead return to life. As a grown and beautiful princess, she regrets her decision, as every man she has loved has been met with tragedy.
