Synopsis

In 1755, Denmark, Captain Ludvig Kahlen embarks on a mission to tame a barren heath deemed unfit for cultivation, with the ambitious objective of founding a colony under the king’s name in exchange for a royal title. Driven by unwavering determination, Kahlen faces opposition from the region’s ruthless local lord, who seeks to undermine his efforts at every turn. As Kahlen pushes forward, his fate remains uncertain—will his endeavors lead to riches and recognition, or will they ultimately cost him his life?
