Synopsis
The first manned spacecraft, launched from an English launchpad, initially disappears from radar before returning to Earth and crashing in a farmer's field. Upon recovery, it is discovered that only one of the three astronauts who had boarded the craft remains inside. The survivor is unable to speak and appears to be undergoing a severe physical and mental transformation.
