The Red Colored Grey Truck

In the summer of 1991, as Yugoslavia begins to disintegrate, Gavran, a color-blind, introverted Bosnian man from the countryside obsessed with trucks, is unable to obtain a driving license. After being released from prison, he steals a truck for a joyride. Meanwhile, Suzana, a city-dwelling woman, learns she is pregnant and decides to travel to Dubrovnik before undergoing an abortion. She hitchhikes and is nearly hit by Gavran. Though unharmed, she blackmails him into taking her to her destination. The two, coming from vastly different backgrounds and both detached from the reality unfolding around them, are thrust together by circumstance. For Gavran, Suzana is the first woman he can communicate with; for her, he is just another foolish man in a long line. However, as danger mounts and the signs of war become more apparent, their worlds begin to converge. Amid the chaos, they come to see each other as the only rational people left.
