Synopsis

A German father's son, who plays soccer, is struck and killed by a car. The father donates the boy's red jacket to a charity, which later sends it to war-torn Sarajevo. The boy's parents are killed, and he nearly is as well. Some United Nations soldiers find him and send him to a hospital in Germany. He escapes the hospital and is again hit by a car, though he is not injured. The driver reads the tag inside the jacket and "returns" the boy to his grieving father.
