Synopsis

The Lowrys begin a new chapter in their lives by moving to the peaceful Northern California town of Placerville. Their journey takes an unexpected turn when they take in a clever and affectionate stray Golden Retriever named Pilot. Soon after, the Lowrys discover that Pilot is pregnant. As the time comes to find new homes for the puppies, they face the emotional challenge of saying goodbye. However, they soon learn that Pilot is determined to reunite with her litter. The Lowrys must now work with Pilot to retrieve the puppies from a variety of eccentric individuals who have adopted them. *The Retrievers* is a touching story that explores how a stray Golden Retriever and her pups help the Lowrys understand important lessons about life, love, family, and what truly matters.
