The Return of Ironside
Synopsis
After forty years of dedicated service, Robert T. Ironside, a reformed member of the San Francisco police force, is finally about to enjoy well-earned rest with his wife, Katherine, on their newly purchased vineyard. However, just days after his official retirement, he is approached by officials from the Denver police force, who offer him the temporary position of general manager following the assassination of the previous occupant of the role. Initially hesitant, Ironside eventually agrees, with his wife's consent, to accept the challenge, especially since he is pleased to reunite with Susan, the daughter of one of his former assistants.
