Synopsis

*Totally Stripped* is a revised version of the documentary originally created to accompany the release of The Rolling Stones' *Stripped* album in November 1995. The film chronicles the two studio sessions and three live performances that formed the *Stripped* project, presented across four Blu-ray discs. It follows the band after the completion of their extensive *Voodoo Lounge* tour, during which they reworked classic tracks from their repertoire into stripped-down arrangements and performed a few carefully selected covers in the studio. These were showcased at smaller club venues, a stark contrast to the large arenas and stadiums of the *Voodoo Lounge* tour. The updated version of the documentary features previously unseen footage, offering insight into the inner workings of The Rolling Stones and the creation of some of their most beloved songs.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 14

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
