Synopsis
In 1967, Santo Russo, a boy of Calabrian origin, moves to Milan, Italy, with his parents and younger brother in search of better living conditions. Due to a misunderstanding and his father's disdain, Santo is wrongly imprisoned, where he receives a "true education." By 1978, he and his friends Slim and Mario begin a 15-year criminal career, marked by a ruthless and successful series of robberies, kidnappings, murders, and heroin smuggling.
