Scott, a skeptical father, accidentally knocks Santa off the roof on Christmas Eve and must take on the role of Santa to keep his son's belief alive—even as the magical world he denies begins to test him in ways he never imagined.

Synopsis
On Christmas Eve, divorced father Scott Calvin and his son find Santa Claus has fallen off their roof. When Scott takes over the magical sleigh, he discovers he has become the new Santa and must convince a world of disbelievers, including himself.
