Synopsis
Sir Percy Blakeney, an English aristocrat of the eighteenth century, maintains a dual existence; outwardly he presents himself as a frivolous member of the gentry, while covertly he participates in a clandestine operation aimed at liberating French nobles during Robespierre's Reign of Terror.
