Synopsis
Hypnosis is increasingly being used by doctors and surgeons as a supplement to anesthesia during surgical procedures. It is also gaining recognition among conventional physicians, particularly in the fields of anesthesia and pain management. There is growing interest in whether hypnosis can also be effective in treating psychological stress disorders, including trauma, phobias, addiction, depression, and burnout.
