Synopsis
*The Seasons Alter* is a short film that presents Shakespearean poetry through the voices of a contemporary family, using it to highlight the urgent issue of climate change. The film juxtaposes imagery of a world experiencing extreme environmental shifts—rising temperatures, melting ice caps, flooding, and food shortages—with lines from a seventeenth-century Shakespearean speech that describes a "mazed world." These poetic words, originally written centuries ago, are shown to resonate powerfully with the reality of today's altered seasons and ecological crisis.
