Synopsis
*The Secret World of Foley* explores the largely unseen work of Foley artists, who enhance films by adding sound effects during post-production. The documentary follows a two-person, multi-award-winning Foley team as they collaborate to create the soundscape for a film depicting a single morning in an English coastal fishing village. Using a wide array of props from their extensive collection, they carefully time and judge each sound effect to bring every auditory detail to life. The film highlights this lesser-known aspect of filmmaking and showcases the artistry that contributes to the magic of cinema.
