The Silence
Synopsis
The Silence is a 1982 short film directed by Michael Toshiyuki Uno. In the film, during the Vietnam War, soldier Jason is injured and becomes separated from his platoon. Mei, a mysterious young woman, discovers him and brings him to her home. The film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film.
