Synopsis

At the NASA Deep Space Tracking Facility, radar detects an object hurtling toward Earth, specifically Los Angeles, at nearly the speed of light. Impact is imminent—just nine seconds away. Meanwhile, in L.A., a boy under ten is being chased by three older boys. In his hand, he clutches a small "Terminator" figurine. Cornered at a dead end with a fence blocking his escape, he is outmatched and hands over the figurine, nicknamed "Arnie," to the gang leader. Back at the NASA facility, the countdown begins—three, two, one—then silence. The expected impact never occurs. In L.A., the bullies, now in possession of the figurine, attempt to leave the scene, only to be halted by a man dressed in silver, hovering on a surfboard.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 15

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
