The Six Million Dollar Man
Synopsis
Colonel Steve Austin, an astronaut and test pilot, sustains severe injuries in a crash while testing an experimental aircraft. A covert government agency, OSI, offers to fund the development of advanced prosthetics to replace the eye, arm, and both legs he lost in the accident. These prosthetics incorporate bionic technology designed to enhance his physical abilities, making him faster, stronger, and more resilient than an average person. In exchange, OSI requests that Austin serve as a covert agent for the agency. The total cost to reconstruct Steve Austin is estimated at $6,000,000.
