Synopsis
This is the story of three young athletes—Okhalia, Alesha, and Shellece—competing in Jamaica’s Champs national youth athletics competition, a prestigious event that holds the potential to change their lives. In a country deeply passionate about its athletes, they aim to follow in the footsteps of Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Jamaica’s celebrated sprinting champion. The girls train at St Jago, Edwin Allen, and Wolmer's High, schools known for their strong focus on developing young talent for the Inter-Secondary Schools Boys and Girls Championships, commonly referred to as the Champs. As the 2017 edition approaches, they face intense pressure from their schools, families, and their own high expectations. Can they succeed and claim victory at Champs?
