Synopsis

In the city of Anyburg, a trial is held to address the worsening traffic situation, with the automobile itself as the defendant. The trial, conducted entirely in rhyme, begins with a car involved in a hit-and-run accident, followed by a sports car accused of reckless behavior such as peeling rubber and hot-rodding. A third defendant is an old, unsafe car. Several safety equipment designers then testify, expressing frustration that despite their innovations, the accident rate continues to rise. Throughout the proceedings, the defense lawyer remains silent, asking no questions. A highway designer laments the misuse of his well-designed roads. Finally, the defense presents various scenarios, arguing that the real issue lies not with the car, but with the driver. The courtroom empties with the declaration that the car is not guilty, and for a brief time, drivers return to the roads with renewed politeness.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 7

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
