Synopsis
For most of the world, consumption has been regarded as an unquestioned duty of every individual. Garbage activist Annie Leonard brought her two-hour lecture to Free Range, which helped her transform it into a 20-minute animated short. Titled *The Story of Stuff*, the film has been shown in thousands of classrooms, frequently featured by Fox News, and viewed more than 10 million times. It has opened the door to a broader cultural discussion about the costs of consumption.
