Synopsis
Ann Collins is pregnant, but the identity of the baby's father is a mystery. Her husband had a vasectomy years earlier, and Ann has not been with another man. As the pregnancy progresses, Ann begins to exhibit strange and unsettling behaviors. She suffers from bizarre illnesses, adds tablespoons of salt to her food, sets the thermostat to 50 degrees, and speed-reads academic books. The situation becomes even more disturbing as events unfold. Barbara Eden stars in this gripping and fast-paced blend of horror and science fiction, written by Richard Matheson. Matheson was a popular and prolific writer known for the novel I Am Legend and several notable scripts for The Twilight Zone.
