The Suitor
Synopsis
Cindy Kwok is a 20-year-old Cantonese woman who still lives at home with her parents. Though she loves and respects them, she longs for the freedom to define her own identity and choose her own partner. Her relationship with her white boyfriend, Brett, faces challenges when her parents arrange for a potential suitor from Hong Kong to be introduced to her. *The Suitor* is a lighthearted comedy that examines cross-cultural relationships and follows Cindy as she takes her first steps toward independence.
