The Thirteenth Tale
Synopsis
Biographer Margaret Lea travels to the remote rural mansion of the renowned writer Vida Winter, who has asked her to write her biography. Although initially hesitant, as Vida is known for distorting the facts of her life, Margaret soon becomes captivated by the story of a dark childhood. The disturbing tale leads her to ultimately confront the traumas of her own past.
