The Treatment
Synopsis
Inspector Nick Cafmeyer appears to have everything—looks, intelligence, and a successful career. However, a dark shadow looms over his life: since he was nine years old, he has been tormented by the unsolved disappearance of his younger brother, Bjorn. Plettinckx, a known sex offender, was questioned in the case but was quickly released. Plettinckx now lives nearby and takes sadistic pleasure in harassing Nick. When a disturbing case involving a missing nine-year-old comes to light, Nick leads a large-scale search that escalates into an intense manhunt.
