The Typist
Synopsis
From the archives of the “queer Smithsonian,” the GLBT Historical Society in San Francisco, comes the untold story of a gay Korean War veteran assigned the task of processing the military discharges of gay seamen who were outed during their service. *The Typist* explores the internal conflict of a clerk caught between enforcing discriminatory policies and his personal identity, as well as his divided loyalties between his homosexuality and his sense of military duty.
