The Vacuum Cleaner
Synopsis
In this humorous short film, a vacuum cleaner is depicted performing amusing and mischievous antics through clever trick photography. The film opens with two attendants beginning a cleaning task, but they pause to take a break. During their absence, two passersby take the vacuum and begin using it to playfully target unsuspecting pedestrians. They first encounter a woman walking her dog on a leash, and with a turn of the vacuum's wheel, both the dog and its owner are dramatically sucked into the machine's spout. Next, a nursemaid strolling down the street is similarly drawn in when the spout is aimed at her. A young couple then becomes the next victims, vanishing in the same fashion as the vacuum continues its playful pursuit of more targets.
