Synopsis
A lighthearted television adaptation of a Renaissance-era sex comedy, the story follows two Venetian women vying for the attention of a charismatic outsider during the carnival. The production is intentionally theatrical and stylized, showcasing Bergman’s fascination with farce and the art of performance.
