The Virgin Spring
A grieving father seeks brutal vengeance after his daughter is savagely murdered by marauding outlaws, forcing him to confront the killers who have taken refuge under his roof.

Synopsis
Töre and Märeta, devout Christians, send their only daughter Karin and their foster daughter Ingeri on a journey to deliver candles to a distant church. While traveling through the woods, the girls come across a group of savage goat herders, who brutally rape and murder Karin while Ingeri hides. The killers later seek shelter in Töre and Märeta's farmhouse, unaware of what they have done. Töre then devises a plan for revenge.
