The Wanderers

In the comedy music film The Wanderers(1986), the plot revolves around an Arab Muslim punk/new waver named Johnny (played by Ali Hassan) who forms a five-piece band in Manchester, England in late 1978. Johnny is a passionate and ambitious musician who dreams of making it big in the music industry, but he faces various challenges and obstacles along the way due to his cultural background and the prevailing social attitudes of the time.
