A journalist posing as a city engineer travels to a remote Kurdish village to document mourning rituals, only to find his fast-paced worldview challenged as the woman he expects to die remains alive and the rhythms of rural life begin to transform him.
Synopsis
City engineer Behzad, known for his irreverent attitude, travels to a rural Kurdish village in Iran to keep vigil for a dying relative. During his time there, the film explores his attempts to adapt to the local community and the gradual shift in his perspectives as a result of his experiences.
