The Wonders
Synopsis
In the Tuscan countryside, a family of traditional honey farmers faces financial hardship. The household is made up entirely of daughters—four in total—led by the eldest, Gelsomina, who shoulders the family's responsibilities. Their routine is disrupted when a small boy is sent to live with them for rehabilitation. As their financial troubles worsen, Gelsomina sees an opportunity in a reality TV contest seeking "Italy’s Most Traditional Family." She is willing to reveal their secluded life in pursuit of the prize money, but her efforts clash with her father’s rigid ways as she fights to secure the family's future.
