The World of Ludovic
Synopsis
Ludovic, a 12-year-old boy from an affluent family, is emotionally neglected by his parents, who are part of the art world. He falls in love with Sofie, the daughter of a piano teacher, after a moment of courage during recess at school. The playful girl with two pigtails is flattered by the boy's interest, and the two grow closer, meeting in secret locations around the city. It is their first experience of love. Soon after, Sofie's father discovers the two in bed together in her room, and as a result, Ludovic is sent to live with his grandparents in Brussels. Unable to cope without Ludovic, Sofie flees her home to join him. The couple takes refuge in abandoned buildings along the Belgian coast. As their parents and the police search for them, the young lovers struggle with the challenges of independence, especially with a mysterious photographer following their movements.
