Synopsis
A 21st-century adaptation of Emily Brontë's novel, set in modern-day Malibu, California, follows the wealthy Earnshaw family as they adopt Heath, a troubled teenager. The family's teenage daughter, Cathy, becomes deeply infatuated with him, causing resentment among her affluent boyfriend, Eddie, and the rest of their exclusive, upscale community. As Cathy becomes more entangled in her passionate relationship with Heath, she remains unaware of his dangerous nature until it is too late.
