Synopsis
Saskia, a passionate horse breeder, lives a quiet life at her idyllic stud farm in the Rhineland. Her routine is disrupted when her childhood friend Andrea dies in an accident, and Saskia is asked to care for Andrea's daughter, Lucy, at least temporarily, in her role as godmother. The 16-year-old, who had lived with her mother in London, finds the rural, monotonous life challenging and out of place.
