Synopsis

Set against the backdrop of a beautiful garden in the heart of London, this contemporary fairy tale centers on the unexpected friendship between a reclusive young woman and a cantankerous old widower. Bella Brown is a uniquely quirky young woman with a dream of writing and illustrating a successful children's book. When her landlord demands that she tend to her neglected garden or risk eviction, she encounters her match, nemesis, and eventual mentor in Alfie Stephenson, a grumpy, loveless old man who lives next door and is an exceptional horticulturalist.
