Thomas & Friends: Tale of the Brave

Thomas is working at the Clay Pits when a storm approaches, and the heavy rain weakens the clay cliffs. A flash of lightning reveals what appear to be giant footprints on the slope above, but a landslide begins, forcing Thomas to flee. Bill and Ben push Thomas to safety just in time. Unable to return and confirm what he saw, Thomas shares the experience with Percy, who becomes convinced that there is a monster on the island. This even makes Percy hesitant to take the mail train at night. When an unusual engine with sloping boilers appears, Percy immediately suspects it to be the monster. James mocks Percy and tries to intensify his fear, but the new engine, named Gator, turns out to be a good friend and ally, helping Percy learn what it truly means to be brave.
