Synopsis
Explorer Thor Heyerdahl and his ten-man crew sailed their reed boat, the Tigris, along routes he believed were used by Sumerian traders 5,000 years ago. The film shifts focus from scientific inquiry to Heyerdahl himself, aiming to explore what drives him to risk his life in pursuit of knowledge.
