Synopsis

An old man reads *Alice in Wonderland* by the fire as the clock strikes 8, and he goes to bed. From the book, Alice emerges and turns on the radio to play the title tune, waking Rip Van Winkle. Alice then rouses the Three Musketeers, who perform a short musical number. The next song features Nero playing the fiddle as Rome burns, followed by Cleopatra performing a sultry dance in a slinky outfit. Uncle Tom sings a spiritual while Mr. Hyde sneaks up and abducts Alice. Tarzan comes to her rescue, joined by other characters who launch an energetic attack using office supplies such as pen points, matches, and a fountain pen. They capture Mr. Hyde, box him up, and carry him away.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 5

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
