Three Summers
Synopsis
Jørgen lives abroad but returns to Denmark every summer with his wife. As usual, he invites his neighbors and their teenage son, Thomas, for dinner at his home. This time, however, there is an unusual tension among the adults. After dinner, Jørgen and Thomas go for a walk on the beach, where they discover that each is dealing with a personal problem they have been unable to discuss. As they confide in each other, a friendship begins to form. Over the course of the next two summers, their relationship evolves in ways neither of them could have anticipated.
