Synopsis
This documentary presents personal accounts of individuals and the tragedy they experienced. Using never-before-seen footage, historian Charles Haas leads a journey into the depths of the North Atlantic, guiding viewers on a tour of the RMS Titanic. As he recounts stories of triumph and struggle, the film highlights various sites, including the doors where all passengers would have entered, a first-class cabin porthole, the davits where the insufficient number of lifeboats were suspended, and the mail room where postal workers heroically perished. Combining this unique footage with letters, historical stills, artifacts, and new recreations, the film presents the human stories of the famous ship in a new light.
