The film follows the creation of the play ""As Comadres"" in post 2018 Brazil (after Bolsonaro's election), supervised by Ariane Mnouchkine, founder of Théâtre du Soleil in France. 20 women from different backgrounds come together, to bring to life this musical about the female universe. Beyond the theatrical questions, the film throws light on the women's desire and constant efforts to escape the dominant mechanisms of our society (including racism, for instance) and reformulate the paradigms of collective work.
