Tokyo Story
An aging couple journeys from their seaside village to bustling Tokyo hoping to reconnect with their adult children, only to find their lives consumed by work and indifference, forcing them to confront the painful distance between generations.

Synopsis
Shukishi and his wife, Tomi, travel from their small coastal village to Tokyo to visit their adult children. Their eldest son, Koichi, is a doctor, and their daughter, Shige, is a hairdresser, both of whom have limited time to spend with their aging parents. As a result, Noriko, the widow of their younger son who died in the war, takes on the responsibility of caring for and keeping company with her in-laws.
