Tokyo Woes
Synopsis
Mr. Hook was created by Hank Ketcham during his time at Walter Lantz Studios and was developed for the U.S. Navy during World War II. The first and only color Mr. Hook cartoon was produced as a wartime propaganda film focusing on Japan and the promotion of war bonds. In the cartoon, a loudspeaker with a grille shaped like a peace sign delivers messages to the character Mr. Hook.
