Tomboy Bessie
Synopsis
In this film, Mabel Normand stars in the title role as a mischievous child who constantly torments others and finds herself in trouble. Mack Sennett is courting Kate Toncray, who portrays Mabel's aunt. William Butler plays Mabel's father and Kate's brother, who tells Mack he may marry his sister if he can amuse his daughter. To do so, Mack allows himself to be tormented by Mabel and provokes a local chicken farmer, who then becomes involved in the chaos.
