Synopsis
The Cistercian monks of Austria are men who rise at 4:30 a.m., pray for more than four hours a day, and have devoted their lives to religious service. They are also musicians who have gained international recognition. This documentary provides a look into the daily life of the monks at Stift Heiligenkreuz Abbey, whose recordings of Gregorian chants have achieved commercial success and charted on music charts.
