Synopsis
Arnold Beckoff seeks love and acceptance, but as a gay man working as a female impersonator in 1970s New York City, both remain elusive. After enduring a series of heartbreaks, Arnold believes he has found true love in Alan, and the two begin making plans to adopt a child. However, when tragedy strikes, Arnold's life is thrown into turmoil, culminating in a confrontation with his overbearing mother, who has never accepted her son's lifestyle.
