Toreadory iz Vasyukovki
Synopsis
Two village boys, Yava Ren’ and Pavlusha Kryvorot’ko (in the novel by Zavhorodniy), aspire to gain fame and mock Salo, who rose to prominence for breeding rabbits. To achieve their goal, they decide to become bullfighters. However, their chosen path proves challenging, as Ukrainian cattle, though patient and good-natured, possess their own dignity.
