Synopsis
In 1945 Helsinki, painter Tove Jansson experiences increased artistic and social freedom after the war. While concentrating on her painting ambitions, she continues telling stories about the Moomin creatures to frightened children in bomb shelters; these tales quickly gain independent popularity and bring her international recognition.
